New RSU President (2020-2024)
After months of waiting, an alumna and home-grown RSU full-fledged Professor returns to its fold to lead the University in another challenging chapter yet. To the RSU community, let us welcome and cheer our New President, Dr. Merian C. Mani!
Dr. Mani who is originally from Long Beach, San Agustin, is the President of Marinduque State College. She is a multi-awarded public servant and a staunch advocate of several causes. She is currently the National President of the Philippine Association of Research Managers (PHILARM). She served as the Vice President for Research and Extension during the historic conversion of RSC to a University under the leadership of the late Dr. Jeter S. SespeΓ±e.
Our best wishes and appreciation also go to all the other aspirants who participated in this democratic process and shared with all of us their grand plans for the University.
May we all move forward from here and take to heart the call to serve as ONE.
