Under the UniCESS v2.0, the flagship community engagement program of Romblon State University (RSU), the College of Education successfully conducted the preliminary implementation of three meaningful extension projects, Project Sig-Ang, Project PAGE, and Project LAKAS, aimed at uplifting the health, education, and well-being of the community.
𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐢𝐠-𝐀𝐧𝐠 empowers parents with skills and knowledge on preparing nutritious, affordable meals to combat food insecurity and promote family health.
𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐏𝐀𝐆𝐄: (Promoting Access to Growth in Education through the Establishment of a Mini-Library and Distribution of School Supplies at Cabibihan Multi-Grade School) enhances learning opportunities by establishing a mini library and improving reading resources at Cabibihan Multi-Grade School.
𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐋𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐒: (Larong Aktibo at KAsanayan sa Sarling Tradisyon) celebrates Filipino culture and childhood through traditional games that promote health, teamwork, and cultural pride.
𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 to the College of Education for the successful preliminary implementation of these community-centered projects, a testament to their dedication to advancing RSU’s mission of inclusive, sustainable, and transformative community engagement.
