Romblon State University proudly announces the approval and establishment of five new research centers, following the recent resolution by the Board of Regents. These centers include the 𝗠𝗔π—₯π—•π—Ÿπ—˜ (Marble Applications on Research for Biodiversity, Land and Environment) Research Center, Center of 𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐇 (Ecological Agroecosystems for Resilient Technologies and Holistic Sustainability for RSU), 𝐑𝐒𝐔-π‚πžπ§π“π‘π„ππƒ (Center for Transnational Research in Education, Nations and Development), 𝐑𝐒𝐔-𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐒 (Center for Research in Spatial Data Science for Sustainable Island Development), and 𝐑𝐒𝐔-𝐂𝐒𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐆 (Center for Sustainable Environment and Natural Resource Governance).

These centers are additions to the existing four research centers of the university which aim to enhance the university’s commitment to innovation, community development, and academic excellence. The newly approved research centers will focus on key areas pertinent to regional and national development, including sustainable marble industries, agriculture, environment and natural resources, transnational research in education, national development, and data science. These initiatives will provide the University’s research communities greater opportunities for advanced studies, collaborative projects, and applied research that address critical local and global challenges.
