Under Annex A, delegates are tasked to exchange ideas on agriculture-related academic programs of the universities, both in undergraduate and graduate levels. They are also bound for various Research, Extension, Development, and Innovation Centers in UGM, as well as agriculture facilities of Indonesiaโs Ministry of Agriculture and agriculture-ecosystem tourism park or agriculture incubation projects for benchmarking if possible.
Furthermore, participants are set to conduct agriculture classes in English, immerse in research activities of UGMโs Faculty of Animal Science in relation to forage and pasture, explore possible partnerships and forge a Memorandum of Understanding between UGM and RSU. Activities shall be supervised by Dr. Budi Guntoro, professor of Animal Science at UGM.
“I received the grant when [we were] in Thailand because there was a professor that I talked with from… Indonesia. Dr. Budi [Guntoro] opened up to me that they are accepting international faculty,” Lucidos said in an interview.
RSU commends its faculty member for his acceptance at this remarkable event which will pave the way for possible adoption of agriculture-ecosystem tourism park and agriculture incubation project at Agpudlos, San Andres in consonance with PDOโs plans to relocate the College of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Forestry at Romblon State University – San Andres Campus.
