College of Business and Accountancy
The Institute of Business and Accountancy (IBA) at RSC was established in October 1998 due to increasing enrollment in business programs that were initially offered under the Institute of Arts and Sciences. Led by its first dean, Prof. Jeter S. SespeƱe, and later by various leaders, the institute faced challenges, including the potential closure of its BS Accountancy program, until the first CPA graduate in 2002 brought credibility to the program.
In 2009, the institute was elevated to the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA) with a significant increase in enrollment and an emphasis on producing high-quality graduates.
Today, the CBA is recognized for its leadership training and excellent CPA exam results, with a strong alumni network contributing to its reputation both nationally and internationally.
