Romblon State University has officially designated Fridays as Student Organization Activities Day across all campuses, in line with VPSAS Memorandum No. 5, series of 2026. The initiative aims to strengthen student leadership, engagement, and holistic development by providing a regular, protected time for student-led initiatives.
The new policy, which was initiated by the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and Services, declares Fridays to be dedicated to student organization programs, including leadership development activities, advocacy campaigns, community engagements, and other co-curricular initiatives that enrich campus life. The move underscores the University’s commitment to cultivating an active, values-driven student community beyond the classroom.
University officials encourage all recognized student organizations to maximize this dedicated time by designing activities that are meaningful, impactful, and aligned with their respective mandates and with the University’s broader goals for student leadership, civic engagement, and service. By creating intentional spaces for student participation, RSU continues to promote a vibrant, cohesive, and purpose-driven campus culture.
