Eddie G. Fetalvero, Ph.D. is the Vice President for Research, Extension, Development and Innovation of Romblon State University, where he concurrently holds the rank of Professor VI. He has been serving in this executive role since March 2023, providing institutional leadership in the planning, coordination, and management of the University’s research, extension, development, and innovation functions.

Dr. Fetalvero earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Education, major in Biology Education, from the University of the Philippines Open University, where he was a CHED Faculty Development Program scholar and a Chancellor’s List awardee. He also holds a Master of Arts in Education major in Science Education from the Philippine Normal University and a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in General Science, magna cum laude, from Romblon State College. His academic training and professional experience are anchored in science education, educational assessment, research management, and applied research.

Prior to his current appointment, Dr. Fetalvero served in various administrative and academic leadership positions at Romblon State University, including Director for Research and Development, Director for Applied Research, and Acting Human Resource Management Officer. His scholarly work includes peer-reviewed publications in international and national journals, with research interests spanning science education, instructional decision-making, assessment, environmental studies, and research capability building. He has also been involved in institution- based, regionally funded, and externally supported research and extension initiatives relevant to sustainable development and regional innovation.
