Romblon State University (RSU) recognized the Golden Jubilarians of its Main Campus High School Batch ’76 with the inaugural “Handumanan” Medal during their 50th reunion held at Prince Aly Hotel in Poctoy.
The Handumanan Medal is awarded to members of a batch celebrating their golden jubilee, honoring their lasting legacy and enduring connection to the University. While RSU conferred Golden Jubilarian medals in previous years, Batch ’76 is the first to receive the distinction under the name “Handumanan.”
University officials present at the event included Vice President for Student Affairs and Services Dr. Gianinna Elaine M. Labicane, Federation of RSU Alumni Association President Dr. Renato R. Menrige Jr., and Alumni Relations Head Mr. Anthony C. Sevilla. The officials joined alumni in recognizing the contributions and achievements of the jubilarians.
The ceremony underscored the significance of the golden jubilee milestone, marking 50 years since the batch’s graduation. It highlighted the group’s service, accomplishments, and continued loyalty to RSU.
